Tips and advice for Applied Health Sciences Students
Admission to professional programs is very competitive. It is important for students to start planning early for admissibility into professional schools.
Each school/program has specific:
Give yourself time to properly complete the applications. Most graduate schools and scholarship applications require letters of reference. Be sure to request well in advance of due date. Professors will not always be available to provide letters of reference on last minute notice.

Visit the University of Waterloo Centre for Career Action (www.careerservices.uwaterloo.ca) for handouts and additional information regarding professional schools. Representatives from Faculties of Education and Health Profession Programs attend UW each October. Check the Centre for Career Action Calendar for these events.
