As the first Kinesiology department in the world, Waterloo has been training top movement scientists for over 40 years. Our science-based Kinesiology program will prepare you for certification as a Certified Kinesiologist or related careers, or for graduate and professional programs (e.g., physiotherapy, medicine).

Optional specializations in Pre-Health Professions, Ergonomics, Human Nutrition, and Neurobehavioural Assessment allow you to customize your studies, while our co-op program and other unique hands-on learning opportunities give you the chance to gain real-world experience.
