If you’re interested in solving movement problems in the workplace, consider the one-of-a-kind Ergonomics (Co-op) Option. This Option builds on core Kinesiology courses and focuses on issues such as injury prevention, human-machine interaction, employee wellness, and equipment design.
The Ergonomics Option is available to Kinesiology co-op students only, and normally at least 3 work terms must be ergonomics-related. For more information, including courses in the Ergonomics Option, see the Undergraduate Calendar.
If you are interested in pursuing the Ergonomics Option you should apply to Kinesiology co-op. At the end of your first year, you can declare the specialization. Approximately 10 students are selected each year.
