My current research interests relate to the application of breathing mechanics to physical activity and occupational work, including firefighting funded, in part, by the Canadian Foundation for Innovation. In addition, funding from Bell University labs supports the development of live, interactive cardiac rehabiltation from remote sites. Collaborative research involves the promotion of independent living in the elderly and enhanced physical activity in children and youth.
