Master of Public Health - Prospective Students

Welcome to the Master of Public Health program in the School of Public Health and Health Systems.

This graduate degree program is delivered in online education format only. On-campus attendance is required but this occurs on only two occasions for two week block courses. The first two week block occurs in August at the start of the program and the second block occurs in the final two weeks of the program, during the month of May.

All other required courses have no on-campus component. On occasion, new elective courses may be offered on campus for one term and then offered online during subsequent years. Access to reliable high-speed internet service is highly recommended in order to have the best experience with our online courses.

The UW MPH program is an applied professional degree program that is course-work and practicum based. This is not a research degree that would typically prepare students for doctoral studies.
