Introduction
A thesis research project is often the culmination of a student's academic studies. A good thesis requires a high degree of initiative. It builds upon all the facts, concepts and ideas developed during a student's degree studies. Successful thesis research requires a dynamic and powerful interaction between a student and a supervisor. I am honoured to have worked with many excellent young scholars on thesis research projects. I am doubly pleased when those projects result in journal and conference publications that contribute the students' ideas to the larger scholarly audience.
